MediCalls may display advertising to help support website operation. This policy explains how advertising should be separated from editorial content.
Clear separation
Advertisements should be visually distinguishable from articles, navigation and site controls. Ads should not be styled to look like download buttons, editorial recommendations or required navigation.
No accidental-click design
Advertising should not be placed in a way that obstructs content, causes accidental clicks, misleads visitors about what is an advertisement or makes the site difficult to use.
Editorial independence
Advertisers do not automatically receive favorable editorial coverage. The presence of an ad does not mean MediCalls endorses, clinically validates or guarantees the advertised product or service.
Health-related advertising
Advertising platforms may apply their own rules to health-related ads and personalization. MediCalls should not use sensitive health information submitted by visitors to create personalized advertising profiles.
Sponsored content
If sponsored editorial-style content is ever published, it should be clearly labeled so readers can distinguish sponsorship from independent editorial material.
